Sec. Albert Del Rosario didn’t hide his gladness when the Indonesia’s government decided to bring to a halt the execution of the Pinay OFW, Mary Jane Veloso in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
The secretary smilingly told the press that the lack of evidence and short of testimony were one of the reasons why Indonesia decided to stop the capital punishment, aside from the president’s plea to the Indonesia’s government.
He also added that maybe Mary Jane should have a chance to tell her side and let the world know who are the people behind this drug trafficking, making her a main witness and complainant in the case.
On addition, there was an emergency meeting along with the Indonesia’s committees after the execution was held to the other 7 convicts.
The case of Mary Jane could be the key to identify different drug lords whom in opinion of others, blackmailed Mary Jane and her recruiter to carry out the drugs in Indonesia.
Here are some reports with regards to Mary Jane’s case.
